Questions landlords ask
Do I have to register on the PRS Database?
If you let property in England, yes. Registration opens region by region from 15 December 2026, and every landlord must be registered by 14 November 2027. Without an active entry, courts won't grant possession, and breaches can bring civil penalties of up to £7,000 — or up to £40,000 for repeated or serious ones.
Does ComplianceBot register me?
